i love music because it can unite seemingly different people for one moment in time to enjoy the same thing :) case in point: DJ z-trip, de la soul and ll cool j at the palladium back in august! i walked into the venue pretty dressed up (fitted black blazer, white tunic, tights and 5-inch stilletos which were a total mistake by the way) and even though there were people as gussied up as me, there were hipsters, hip-hoppers, boho hippie types… all there to shake their a$$es to some great music! it was like the house party thrown by the cool kids in high school but everyone was invited to come.
