such a great song from an artist that i don’t think has been given enough credit.  at the age of 30, ben kweller’s one of the most talented musicians and guitarists i’ve ever had the pleasure of watching perform.  this song was probably his most commercially successful songs (if not THE only successful song) and that’s such a shame because there is so much more talent there than this.  i enjoy this song with all the others (particularly “falling”, “commerce, tx” and “thirteen”) and wish he would be recognized for all of his musical contributions.

he announced in austin, tx that he would be releasing another album come 2012 and in the interim, would be starting his own indie label.  if you’re ever fortunate to have ben kweller blow on through your town, do yourself a favor and check him out.  his show is just him, his guitar and a piano and the feeling you get when you watch him is just as intimate.  all the luck in the world to him with his music and his label!
