a belated HAPPY 2012 to everyone!  hope it’s been good to everyone so far.  as for me, i’m just trying to survive my job’s busiest season.  it’s been nuts and with every passing day, i feel more like a zombie than a human being BUT, as always, music is helping me make it through.  a few more weeks of zombiehood before i can rejoin the human race so until then, i’ll keep the headphones on and keep boogying my way back :)  below are the very random jams that have gotten me through the first quarter of the year.

the oddest thing today in my web findings today…  i was seeing double!  i could dub it as an anomaly or as a sign to further research what i encountered.  one of the items:  an artist named gotye (by way of dianna agron’s website “you, me & charlie” as well as actor/musician bryan greenberg’s twitter).  this is actually a cover of his song “somebody that i used to know” by walk off the earth and sarah blackwood.  it’s so delightfully odd, melodic and simultaneously intricate and simple…  anyways, listen for yourself - i’m not sorry i did.
